Taulu
№ 001 · vs. Trello

Why teams leave Trello for Taulu.

Trello is a single board with a single kanban — anything that needs context around the cards lives in the description field or a Power-Up. Taulu keeps the kanban you love, then gives you the rest of the canvas around it: stickies, mindmaps, embedded reference, a voice room, all on the same board. Your data stays in the EU and you only pay for people who actually edited that month.

Rows checked against shipped behaviour, not a sales deck. The bottom group lists what Trello still does better — the comparison is more useful when honest.

№ 004 · Migrate

Bring your Trello workspace in in minutes.

OAuth read-only. We never write back to Trello. Re-run the import any time to refresh.

  1. Step 1

    Connect Trello

From Settings → Integrations, click Connect Trello. We use Trello's read-only OAuth — no write access requested, no surprises.

  2. Step 2

    Pick the board

Browse your Trello workspaces and pick the board to import. Closed (archived) boards aren't shown by default.

  3. Step 3

    Import in seconds

Lists become kanban columns. Cards become kanban cards keeping their title, description, due date, label colours, assignees, checklists, and attachments. Card comments are noted in the import summary.

№ 005 · Asked

What teams
ask first.

Are my Trello labels and label colours preserved?

Yes. Each Trello label colour maps to a Taulu kanban label with a matching hue. Labels stay attached to the cards after import.

What about checklists and due dates?

Checklists come over as Taulu card checklists (one column per Trello checklist). Due dates and start dates are preserved. Checked items stay checked.

Do attachments come along?

Yes. Files attached to Trello cards are downloaded into Taulu storage and re-attached to the corresponding kanban card. Trello-hosted images come across; external links remain as links.

Can I keep using Trello during the migration?

Yes. The import is one-way. We never write back to Trello. Run the import again after Trello-side changes — duplicates are merged by card ID.

What does it cost for a small team?

€2 per active editor / month, with a €4 minimum invoice. A 5-person team paying for 5 active editors comes to €10/month. People who didn't edit any board that month are never billed.

Ready to leave
Trello?

Free forever for one board. €2 per active editor / month on Pro (€4 minimum). People who didn't edit that month are never billed.
