Refund Policy

Who this applies to
This policy governs refund requests for paid Taulu subscriptions. Taulu is a product of sampsa.dev oy (Y-tunnus 3183970-6). Subscriptions are sold by Paddle as merchant of record; Paddle’s own buyer terms also apply.
Our stance
You can cancel anytime. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. We do not refund the unused portion of a paid period.
- Monthly subscription, cancelled mid-month: access to the end of that month.
- Annual subscription, cancelled mid-year: access to the end of that year.
- No refund is issued for the period already paid.
This is consistent with our metered billing model. During the paid period the Service has been available and your organisation was free to use it.
How to cancel
You have three options:
- Paddle customer portal, linked from your organisation’s Admin → Billing page.

Cancellations are confirmed within two business days.
Refund exceptions
We authorise Paddle to issue a refund in these cases:
- Billing error: duplicate charge, wrong plan, incorrect editor count, or any charge posted after your cancellation. Refund covers the erroneous portion.
- Material service failure: the Service is unavailable for more than 72 continuous hours and we cannot provide a reasonable fix. Refund covers the affected period on a pro-rata basis.
- Consumer withdrawal rights: if you purchase as a consumer in the EU or EEA and the subscription has not yet started being delivered, you have statutory withdrawal rights under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. Once delivery of digital content has begun with your consent, the withdrawal right may be exercised only as permitted by that Act.
- Duplicate account: a single organisation accidentally subscribing twice. We refund the duplicate.
Chargebacks
Please contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback
with your card issuer. Most disputes are billing errors we can correct
in a day. Paddle handles chargeback adjudication per its own framework.
