€2 per active editor. You only pay for people who actually edit.

A user is an "active editor" in a given month if they created, edited, moved, or commented on an item on any of your boards during that month. Viewers and people who only read are never charged. You're not billed for invited users until they actually edit something.

Active editors × €2. Minimum €4/mo (covers payment processing — Paddle takes a per-invoice fee that won't fit under that floor). Examples: 12 active editors = €24. 5 active editors = €10. 2 active editors = €4. 1 active editor = €4 (floor binds).

Photo-to-canvas imports above the included quota are billed at €0.10 each on Pro. The Free plan has a hard cap of 10 imports / month. Additional imports are blocked until next month or you upgrade.

Plans include a generous storage allotment (1 GB Free, 50 GB Pro). When you exceed it, uploads keep working, but you'll see a banner asking you to upgrade. Your canvas content (stickies, kanban cards, mindmap nodes, etc.) is always safe. Only the uploaded files themselves become eligible for eviction after a 30-day grace period if you don't upgrade.

Yes. Cancel from the admin billing page or via the Paddle customer portal; you keep access until the end of your current billing period. See our refund policy for full details.

Only if you subscribe to Pro. The Free plan never asks for a card. Try Taulu there as long as you like. When you outgrow Free, you subscribe to Pro with a card; you can cancel any time and we follow our refund policy if you change your mind.

Prices shown are excluding VAT. Paddle, our payments provider and merchant of record, adds the applicable VAT, sales tax, or GST at checkout based on your location, and remits it for you.

Photo-to-canvas is the only feature that uses an outside AI provider. Only when you explicitly tap "Extract" on a pasted or dropped image, that single image is sent to Mistral AI in France, which reads what's on the whiteboard and sends back stickies, kanban cards, mindmap nodes and so on, placed on your board. The original image stays on your canvas and is recoverable. Mistral does not train on the data we send. Full details in our privacy notice.

Pro keeps working at €2 per active editor. 100 editors = €200/mo. 200 editors = €400/mo. There's no volume discount on the roadmap because Taulu is already 7-11× cheaper than per-seat alternatives. If you need a signed DPA, drop us a line at [email protected].

Every board comes with its own voice room. We run the voice service ourselves on our own server in Helsinki — no Zoom, no Discord, no outside provider ever handles your audio. Audio is end-to-end encrypted between participants, so even our server only relays it without being able to listen. Your mic stays muted until you choose to join, every time. Facilitators can open breakout rooms; viewers (read-only board access) can listen but not speak. Nothing is recorded or saved — when the call ends, it's gone.
