Each item stays where it was placed. There is no underlying grid forcing it into a shape it does not want to be, and no folder hierarchy in which it can quietly disappear.

Free forever for one board. Pay only for editors on Pro.
A user only appears on a given month's invoice if they actually edited a board that month. Viewers, read-only invitees, and the colleague on parental leave for the whole of February are not billed. Every member of the team keeps their own account; sharing logins to save a euro tends to be a false economy that obscures who is doing the work.
